This experience is gained while working on a project – in the decisions that need to be made and in the creative search for solutions.
Despite the company’s relatively short history of only five years, HydroBIM engineers have had the opportunity to work on major hydro-technical projects. The team participated in projects of the Flood Protection Program in the Odra and Vistula River Basins, co-financed by the World Bank. We have collaborated with AECOM Polska on the modernization of embankments and the construction of a floodgate in Sandomierz, as well as on flood protection measures in Tarnów. In Lower Silesia, HydroBIM engineers were responsible for project supervision during the construction of the Szalejów Górny and Krosnowice dry reservoirs. We are continuing this trend as a leading subcontractor for hydro-technical tasks in CPK railway projects.
Tactic knowledge also stems from the ability to integrate technologies. At HydroBIM, we were quick to take advantage of the opportunities offered by combining GIS and BIM technologies. We work with HEC-RAS, SCALGO and Civil 3D software in both the Bentley ProjectWise and Autodesk environments.
We create models that combine terrain, design and hydraulic data into a single environment. The team does not use templates – we often build proprietary solutions that leverage the synergies of different platforms. We have developed our innovative CDE solutions in Tarnów into the cutting-edge Digital Twin Port of Gdynia project.
